Bollywood star Soha Ali Khan says she prefers Bengali films to Bollywood as Bengali films have more powerful roles for girls .

Kareena Kapoor is putting in all her efforts in her upcoming film ‘Heroine’. The actress is also believed to have cried while shooting for some emotional scenes.

"Her character Mahi Arora is very contemporary, very edgy, very hard-hitting and very real like my other cinema. Kareena will definitely be a shock element to the people because of the way she has worked in the film,” the 43-year-old producer-director said here at the launch of photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar.

The song ‘Rock N Roll Soniye…’ from ‘KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA’ has finally been shown on Zee TV. Popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has done what Aishwarya Rai did last year for the ‘Kajra re’ song – dance with the Bachchans.

The short 30 seconds clip shows both Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, dancing with Preity Zinta. Preity looks absolutely fabulous and stunning in this video.

The Kajra Re song from ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, which released last year, became a worldwide hit. Karan Johar is expecting that this video will also achieve the same kind of success. It has been rumoured that Karan has roped his favourite actress and lucky charm, Kajol, to feature in this video, while hunk John Abraham is also shown in a scene as a Disc Jockey.

Noted Filmmaker Karan Johar has called-off his plans to organise a premiere of his soon to be released multi-starrer ‘Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna’ .

According to Johar’s film banner Dharma Productions, the filmmaker is in no mood for celebration as Mumbai has seen lot of tragedies in the recent months, including the serial bomb blasts in local trains in which nearly 200 people were killed on July 11.

Karan will now directly release the movie on August 11 without much fanfare and glitz, which is normally associated with big banner Bollywood films.

Newcomer Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli was badly injured when an unidentified man threw acid on her face.

According to sources, Rangoli and her friend Vijaya Chublani were the victims of the deadly attack that took place on Thursday. Kangana’s sister received serious burn injuries on her face and body, whereas Vijaya received minor injuries.

The attacker gained entry into Rangoli’s rented apartment by lying that he got a draft for her. Vijaya, who shares the room with Rangoli opened the door and the attacker fled after splashing acid on both the girls. They were taken to hospital by the neighbours, who heard the girls crying for help.

Celina Jaitley is a very good friend of Ashish Chaudhary and his wife Smita Bangargi. Ashish Chaudhary’s sister and his brother-in-law who where taken as hostages in the Mumbai’s Oberoi Trident Hotel on Wednesday have been killed by the terrorists among many others.

Celina Jaitley tells us more, "I didn’t know Ashish’s sister that well. But I know that they all doted on her and her husband. What a terrible tragedy. Where will all this end?”
